Summary:

Myself is a reflexive pronoun, being the reflexive form of I. It is used especially in the following ways: - as an object that refers to the speaker or writer who is the subject of the sentence or is mentioned somewhere earlier in the sentence: I blame myself for what happened. She showed me a photograph of myself at the age of 12. - after "I" for emphasis: I myself will perform the operation.
1) used for showing that you are affected by or involved in the results of something that you do

She was worried that I might hurt myself.

I was starting to enjoy myself.

I'm going to pour myself another coffee.

2) used for referring to yourself when you have already been mentioned in the same sentence

They asked me a few questions about myself.

a) used for emphasizing that you are referring to yourself and not to anyone else

b) used for emphasizing that you do something without help from anyone else

I arranged everything myself.

4) used instead of "I" or "me" when you are trying to be polite. Many people think that this use is incorrect
